A Conversation from the Inner Depth's of Anne's Mind

ME: Look self... *sigh* we gotta talk.

MYSELF: What's wrong me? you look dissapointed.

ME: Well i've come to a revelation and I think we need all of us in on it.

MYSELF: Ok... what's up?

ME: Y'know how we've been kinda romance crazy for the past few years? Like all relationships lasting for months and just riding them out till we ride them into the ground.

MYSELF: Well I wouldn't say into the grou-

ME: I'm not done! *ahem* We 've gone through this cycle now about three times and it's always ended poorly. Maybe we should take a look at what we really want.

MYSELF: okay...

ME: Like, do we want a love to last a lifetime? or do we just want to enjoy the moments of romance and the world we're in? Cause the way we've been going about this is all wrong I think. We try so desprately to make things work and fit when they clearly never will just because of the promise of intimacy and romance... That's not cool!

MYSELF: I suppose not... But what do you suggest a life of celbacy and just remove us from any chance of love?

ME: NO! GOD NO! but maybe, just maybe we don't need to fall in love and have a commited relationship to experience intimacy, and romance. Maybe we can enjoy the company of others while not commiting to any grand proclimations of love. And MAYBE, call me crazy but, if we focus on our own life and goals we might meet someone on the road who shares the destination. And maybe for once in our life we don't have to try and force a square peg into a round hole.

MYSELF: I... I guess that sounds nice...yeah.... you know what yeah! I like it! But what are we even doing with our life that could be anywhere near as exciting?

Why

I feel after a summer of the quality of the one I had this year maybe a blog will be entertaining, maybe a blog will be therapeutic, maybe it will be a waste of time. Who knows. But I do know it will be a spilling of thoughts and ideas. So it'll be interesting to say the least.
